Vitreous black crystalline mass. It is a relatively new mineral. According to Mindat, the mineral was originally called Romanite, but it was poorly described and published without approval. Dragila M., published a new description in 1990 and was eventually approved in 2014 and published in 2017. I am assuming, given composition and physical properties, it is metamict.
