This is an old, antique specimen with a John H. Caswell label. The number on the specimen matches the label number. The name given to the mineral back then was "Baltimorite", which later was defined as Antigorite. The purple I assume is due to chromium tremolite. See prov. tab for label scan. As is typical of Caswell, the origin of the specimen was written on the back of his label. In this case it was A.C. Beatty.
