It is a mineralogical paradise to view this under the scope but is equally amazing in-hand. The sprays of Kermesite are fantastic and reach nearly 2cm. Amongst the Kermesite are numerous divergent groups of Stibnite and groups of creamy white Valentinite. Cool specimen.

This is a very good specimen from this district. There are four minerals, all derivatives of antimony, that are well crystallized in the open cavities. Kermesite, the red sprays to 6mm, is the featured mineral. It is accompanied by colorless, octahedral crystals of Senarmontite to about 1mm in a good cluster. Fabulous crystals of Valentinite are present with rich coverage. And finally of course are sprays of Stibnite to 5 or 6mm. The base of this specimen has not been photographed but there are endless more crystals of Kermesite and single blades of Valentinite all over the place.
